Rawon Rice (food)

Rawon or rice Rawon (because it is always served with rice) is a form of stew meat menu with unique flavor because it contains kluwek. Rawon, although known as the East Javanese cuisine, known also by the community east of Central Java (Surakarta).
 
Generally Rawon meat for beef that is diced. Very typical soup seasoning Indonesia, which is a mixture of onion, garlic, galangal (laos), coriander, lemon grass, turmeric, chilli, kluwek, salt, and vegetable oil. All of these ingredients (except lemon grass and galangal) refined, and saute until fragrant. This spice mixture then put in the stew broth with meat. Typical dark color comes from kluwek Rawon.
 
Rawon served with rice, equipped with a small bean sprouts, spring onion, crackers, and salsa.

Kebaya (clothes)

Kebaya is a traditional blouse worn by Indonesian women made from thin material worn with a sarong, batik, or other traditional knitted garments such as songket with a colorful motif. Kebaya believed came from China [citation needed] hundreds of years ago. Then spread to Malacca, Java, Bali, Sumatra, and Sulawesi. After acculturation that took place hundreds of years, the clothes received in the local culture and norms.
Prior to 1600, on the island of Java, kebaya is worn clothes that only the royal family there. During the period of Dutch control of the island, European women began wearing kebaya as formal dress. During this period, kebaya changed from only using mori fabric using silk with colorful embroidery.
Similar clothing called "mistress Kebaya" was first invented by the Peranakan people of Malacca. They wear gloves and shoes with beautiful beaded called "sandals Manek". Now, the lady kebaya undergoing renewal, and is also popular among non-Asian women.Separate from the traditional kebaya, fashion designers are looking for ways to modify the design and making kebaya became more modern clothing. The modified kebaya can even wear it with jeans or a skirt.

Batik (clothes)

Batik is one way of making fabrics. Besides batik can refer to two things. The first is the technique of coloring cloth using the night to prevent the coloring part of the fabric. In the international literature, this technique is known as a wax-resist dyeing. The second notion is a cloth or clothing made with these techniques, including the use of certain motifs that have specificity. Batik Indonesia, as the overall engineering, technology, and development and cultural motives related, defined by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage for Humanity Oral and Nonbendawi (Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity) since October 2, 2009.

Kecak, The Worship Dance (dance)

Kecak (pronunciation: / 'ke.tʃak /, roughly "KEH-chahk", alternate spellings: Ketjak, Ketjack, and Axilla), is a typical Balinese performing arts that was created in 1930 and played mainly by men. This dance performed by many (tens or more) male dancers who sit in a circle and lined with a certain rhythm called "top" and raised both arms, depicting the Ramayana as Rama's line of apes help fight Ravana. However, Kecak sanghyang ritual comes from, namely that the dancers dance traditions will be in unconscious condition [1], to communicate with God or the spirits of the ancestors and then convey their expectations to the community.
The dancers in the circle is wearing a plaid cloth like a chessboard their waist. Besides the dancers, there were other dancers who portray the characters Ramayana as Rama, Shinta, Ravana, Hanuman, and Sugriva.

Seudati, The War Dance (dance)

Seudati Dance is a dance that originated from the province of Aceh. Seudati derived from the word 'Creed, which means witness / testify / recognition of no god but Allah, and Muhammad the messenger of God.

This dance is also included in the category or Tribal War Dance War Dance, which the words are always inspiring young people of Aceh to rise up and fight colonialism. Therefore, this dance had banned the Dutch colonial era, but now is allowed to dance again and became the National Art Indonesia.

Sate Madura (food)

Tanah Lot, The Holy Ground (Resort)

Tanah Lot 'is a tourist attraction in Bali, Indonesia. Here are two temples are located on on a large rock. One is located on the boulder and the other is located on the cliffs similar to Uluwatu Temple. Pura Tanah Lot is part of the temple Dang heaven.
